This is the privacy policy (this “Policy”) of Japan Sports & Tourism Premier (“we”, “us”, or “our”) concerning the handling of users’ Personal Information (as defined below) for the services provided on this website (the “Services”).

We may also collect the records of your transactions with our business partners (including information providers, advertisers, and advertising media; “Business Partners”) and information on your payments to them, including your Personal Information, from the Business Partners.

We will collect and use your Personal Information for the following purposes:

• Reply to your inquiries (including confirming your identity)
• Email you information on new functions added to, updates of, and campaigns for the Services you are using, and other services provided by us

• Identify users who violated the terms of use of our services or attempt to use the Services for unauthorized or improper purposes and refuse them access to our services
• Enable you to access, change, and delete your registered information and access the status of your use of our services
• Charge you for fee-based services

Article 4. Change of the Purposes of Use

We will change the purposes of use of Personal Information only if the purposes of use after the change are reasonably considered relevant to those before the change.
After making any change to the purposes of use, we will inform users of the changed purposes of use by the method specified by us or make public the changed purposes of use on this website.

Article 5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

Unless permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations, we will not provide your Personal Information to any third party without your prior consent, except for the following cases:

• The provision is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person, and it is difficult to obtain your consent.
• The provision is particularly necessary to improve public health standards or promote the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain your consent.

  • We contract out the whole or part of the handling of your Personal Information to them to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
  • Your Personal Information is provided to them in a merger or other business succession.
  • Your Personal Information is used jointly with a specific person or persons, and all the following information is provided or made readily available to you before the joint use: the fact that your Personal Information is jointly used, the items of your Personal Information jointly used, the range of the joint user(s), the purposes of use of the joint user(s), and the name of the person responsible for the management of your Personal Information.

Article 6. Disclosure of Personal Information

If you request a disclosure of your Personal Information, we will disclose it to you without delay. However, if the disclosure falls under any of the following, we may not disclose the whole or part of your Personal Information; in this case, we will inform you without delay. For a disclosure of your Personal Information, we will charge you 1,000 yen.

• The disclosure may harm your or a third party’s life, body, property, or other rights or interests.
• The disclosure may significantly disrupt the proper implementation of our business operations.
• The disclosure otherwise violates applicable laws and regulations.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, we will not disclose your information on your activities on this website, user information, or other information that is not your Personal Information in principle.

Article 7. Correction and Deletion of Personal Information

If you find that your Personal Information held by us is incorrect, you may request us to correct, add, or delete (“Correct”) the Personal Information in accordance with the procedures specified by us.
If we consider it necessary to meet a request made by you under the preceding paragraph, we will Correct the Personal Information without delay.
After Correcting your Personal Information under the preceding paragraph or deciding not to Correct your Personal Information, we will inform you without delay.

Article 8. Discontinuation of Use of Personal Information

If you request us to discontinue using or erase (“Discontinue Using” or “Discontinuation of Use”) your Personal Information on the grounds that the Personal Information is handled by us for any purpose other than the purposes of use or was collected by us by wrongful means, we will conduct a necessary investigation without delay.
If we consider it necessary to meet the request based on the results of the investigation conducted under the preceding paragraph, we will Discontinue Using the Personal Information without delay.
After Discontinuing Using your Personal Information under the preceding paragraph or deciding not to Discontinue Using your Personal Information, we will inform you without delay.
Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, where Discontinuation of Use costs a lot or is otherwise difficult to implement, if alternative steps necessary to protect your rights and interests are available, we will take the alternative steps.
